**** While these are old imap settings, it has been brought to our attention that various alternate port settings may work differently. Someone suggested that the incoming/outgoing ports both worked if set to 993 SSL/TLS. Every once in a while we have found Outgoing set to 25 may work. GVTC is not very forthcoming when it comes to their settings and that is primarily because imap is not what they prefer to be used. Newer versions of Outlook want you to use Microsoft Exchange servers. This is just here to detail what has worked in the past. ****
Click the Outgoing Server tab
.
- Check My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- Click Ok
The click the Test Account Settings… button
When email message tests are completed, click Close.
Click Finish
